Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information AquaPura collects, how we use it, and your rights. We are the data controller: Atlas Abstractions Ltd (trading as AquaPura), 100 Liverpool Street, London, EC2M 2AT, United Kingdom, contactable at hello@aquapura.life.

What we collect

  • Information you give us: name, email, shipping and billing address, and order details when you buy or subscribe. Payment card details are processed by our payment providers — we do not store full card numbers.
  • Information collected automatically: device, browser, IP address, pages viewed, and cookie data (see section 5).
  • Subscription data: your renewal schedule and billing history where you hold a filter subscription.

How we use it

To process and deliver orders, manage subscriptions and renewals, provide customer support, send order updates, prevent fraud, meet legal obligations, and — where you've agreed — send marketing.

Legal bases (UK/EU)

Performance of our contract with you (orders, subscriptions), legitimate interests (fraud prevention, improving our service), consent (marketing emails), and legal obligation (accounting records).

Who we share it with

We share data only as needed with service providers who help us run the business, including Shopify (e-commerce platform), our payment processor(s), Bold Subscriptions (subscription management), our shipping/fulfilment partners, our email marketing provider, our reviews provider, and Meta/Google (advertising and analytics, where you've consented). We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies

We use cookies for site functionality, analytics, and advertising. You can control non-essential cookies via our cookie banner and your browser settings.

Data retention

We keep your data for as long as needed to fulfil orders and meet legal/accounting requirements, then delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent. UK/EU (GDPR): you may complain to your supervisory authority (in the UK, the ICO). US (incl. California): you may request access to or deletion of your data and opt out of "sale/sharing" for targeted advertising. To exercise any right, email hello@aquapura.life.

international transfers

Your data may be processed outside your country. Where it is, we rely on appropriate safeguards required by law.

Changes

We'll post any updates here with a revised date.
